The frying oil tester testo 270 reliably determines the quality and remaining longevity of frying oil and can be operated with ease thanks to its minimalistic design. In order to do so, it measures the so-called „Total Polar Material“ (TPM) content within the oil and converts the sum of its parts to a percentage, which in turn allows to draw conclusions on how to further proceed and whether a replacement of the oil is imminent. With advancing age due to frequent use, the TPM levels will increase accordingly and be elevated. As a result, qualitatively inferior deep-fried goods are produced.
