The foundation
The Armatherm company was founded in 1949. In the beginning of the company was the production of glass thermometers and hydrometers for various applications. Production was for industry, trade and craft. The company started in Lipperode near Lippstadt. After a short time the company was moved to larger premises in Lemgo. Skilled workers from Central Germany (the home of the glass industry) were hired and formed the core workforce.
The product range
In Lemgo, activities were expanded and the product portfolio included measuring instruments of all kinds: control thermometers, laboratory thermometers, pressure gauges, hydrometers, acid lifters and frost protection testers.
Through a plant expansion, production was extended to include thermowells, bimetallic and gas pressure thermometers.
Based on the requirements of customers and our own experience, the delivery possibilities were then extended to include multi-range manometers, inclined tube manometers, U-tube manometers and swimming pool thermometers.
Digital handheld gauges, panel meters with digital display, resistance thermometers and a wide range of special models round off the product portfolio.
